Where We Come From

A Roofing Company Built on Values, Not Shortcuts

Better Way Roofing is based in Shipshewana, Indiana — the heart of one of the largest Amish communities in the United States. Lyle Lehman grew up Amish. Keith, his business partner, is Amish. Their metal roofing crew is Amish.

Lyle learned roofing working for contractors around Shipshewana in 2010 and 2011, picking up weekend and after-hours jobs. One of those contractors saw enough in him to say: start your own. In 2015, that's what he did.

Since then, Better Way has grown to over 300 five-star reviews, an A+ BBB rating, and a reputation across Northern Indiana and Southern Michigan for doing the job right — every time.
