Where Our Content Comes From
Better Way Roofing publishes articles about roofing, insurance claims, materials, and home protection. This page explains how that content is created and why you can trust it.
Our Source of Expertise
All written content published on this website originates from direct interviews with Lyle Lehman, founder of Better Way Roofing.
Lyle has 10+ years of hands-on roofing experience. He's inspected hundreds of roofs, worked through countless insurance claims, and navigated every problem that comes up in this industry. His knowledge is the sole source of expertise behind everything we publish.
How Content is Created
Step 1: Interview
Nick Burrage (our marketing partner) interviews Lyle about a specific topic. The interview is recorded and transcribed.
Step 2: Draft
Content is drafted from the interview transcript. An external writing partner assists in organizing and clarifying Lyle's words.
Step 3: Review and Approval
Lyle reviews the draft. He corrects any inaccuracies, adds details, and approves the content before it's published.
Step 4: Publication
The content goes live only after Lyle's personal approval.
Nothing is published without Lyle's sign-off. Nothing is guessed. Nothing is outsourced to AI without human review.
How We Ensure Accuracy
Our content draws directly on Lyle's professional experience rather than on secondary sources or generalizations.
Where external references are included, they are linked to their original source. If we reference an insurance regulation, you can click through and read it yourself. If we cite a manufacturer specification, you can verify it.
We do not publish claims we cannot support.
What We Will and Won't Publish
We only publish content about roofing, insurance claims, and home protection: the areas where Lyle has genuine, hands-on expertise. We don't publish content outside that scope.
We do not accept guest posts or sponsored content. Everything on this website reflects Lyle's own knowledge and experience, not a third party's agenda.
We do not overstate results or make claims we cannot substantiate. Our content is educational. It's designed to help you make informed decisions, not to sell you something.
Keeping Content Current
If we discover that something we've published is inaccurate or out of date, we correct it promptly.
Roofing materials change. Insurance regulations shift. Building codes get updated. When that happens, we update the content and note the date of the update.
